Chris joined us from Grey Court School, Richmond where he taught Science for 3 years. Chris has a first class honours degree in Biochemistry and Genome Science from the University of Portsmouth and a Masters degree in Reproductive and Developmental Biology from Imperial College London. Chris has a PGCE from the University of Cambridge and recently completed his Masters in Education at the same institution in 2019. Chris loves to provide extracurricular provision for his students and at his previous school ran KS3 Girls STEM club, Dissection Club and Soapmaking Club. Chris’s academic interests in education are strategies to increase student intrinsic motivation, the new discipline of ‘Big History’ and cross-curricular opportunities for teaching and learning. In his spare time Chris enjoys anything related to history/ancient history, scuba diving, and travelling.
