Clement studied at music at City University London as well as jazz piano at Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Having started his teaching career in England and then moving to Thailand, Clement has taught both primary and secondary music. Clement enjoys leading and arranging music for ensembles, including jazz bands, orchestras, string, flute and xylophone ensembles, and choirs.
Clement is eager to create as many different performance opportunities for his students as possible and has previous performance credits that include co-leading the secondary choir in London to perform Adiemus at Carnegie Hall, New York, touring his secondary jazz band to different schools and fairs in Richmond, London; creating the opportunity for the primary orchestra and choir to perform at Central Festival, Pattaya and inviting community partners to participate in an interactive school performance in Thailand.
Clement is looking forward to serve the SJIIM students with his love for music. He is coming with his wife and daughter, and is very eager to get to know and also become a part of the local community of Malaysia.
