Mrs Eileen Quigley Position: Elementary School Principal

Eileen is the Founding Principal of St Joseph’s Institution International Malaysia, Elementary School. She was born in Scotland but lived in London for most of her life, before moving to Malaysia with her husband in 2015. Her children, both in their twenties, live and work in London but are regular visitors to KL. In a career spanning 35 years, Eileen has held numerous senior roles in schools including Headteacher of a highly successful school in North London, an Ofsted Inspector and working as a National Leader in Education supporting a number of schools in the UK.

Eileen is proud to have led SJIIM Elementary School through the opening phase in 2016, and to have seen the school grow rapidly, building an outstanding reputation in the community. She is passionate in her belief that at SJIIM, each student will have a holistic, values driven education where they will realise their full potential. She is committed to the vision that the Elementary School will provide a vibrant, warm and welcoming environment for all the children. Eileen firmly believes that outstanding teachers are key to the success the school and is delighted to have appointed committed professionals who work tirelessly to ensure the academic, social, emotional and spiritual growth of the children in their care.

Eileen is determined to ensure that SJIIM students will flourish and develop along with the school, acquiring skills and values which will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
