Sally-Anne Lee Position: Year 1 Team, SENCO (Special Needs Coordinator)

Sally-Anne Lee is from Johannesburg, South Africa and started her teaching career in 1990 having graduated with an Honours Education degree with specialization in remedial education from the University of Witwatersrand.

Having worked in education in many countries including the UK, Ireland, South Africa, USA and Vietnam, she has gained an extensive experience of various international curricula and cross cultural teaching practices. Her most recent teaching position prior to joining SJIIM was with the American International School in Danang, Vietnam.

Sally Anne’s passion and drive are centered around the Early Year’s education with a keen interest in Special Needs Education where she endeavors to give each child the opportunity to learn and develop in their own unique way. She also believes in the power of reading and encourages each child to develop strong bonds with literature as early as possible.

She lives with her husband Sean in KL and has 2 grown sons who live in South Africa. In her spare time, Sally Anne Loves to explore new places and is a keen traveler, reader and enjoys cooking.
