Victoria Stacey Position: Humanities Teacher and Lasallian Education

Victoria joined us, in September 2020, from Tenby International School, Malaysia, where she was Head of Year 11, PSHE Lead and Teacher of Lasallian Education and Humanities. Previous to this, she spent eight years teaching in Catholic secondary schools in the UK, in roles that largely promoted the Catholic life of these schools such as the Head of Religious Education, HRSE and Catholic Life for five years and the Assistant Head of Religious Education and PSHE Lead before this. Victoria holds a honors degree in Philosophy from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne and a PGCE and Master’s degree in Theology and Religious Education from Liverpool Hope University. Victoria has also achieved education leadership qualifications, including Catholic Schools Senior Leadership certification awarded by the Archdiocese of Liverpool, England and NPQML. Victoria has dedicated her career to promoting and nurturing the development of the whole student and the community life of the school. In the classroom, her interests lie in metacognition, thematic learning and Philosophy for Children. Victoria’s main focus is on community service; contributing to schools, Catholic youth movements and charities by engaging young people in the practice of almsgiving. Outside of school, Victoria likes to spend time with her husband and two children; when they are not travelling around South East Asia, they enjoy cooking and being outdoors together as a family.
