When enrolling your child at St. Joseph’s Institution International School Malaysia (SJIIS), we use three key assessments to better understand their abilities and ensure we offer the right support from day one.
CAT4 (Cognitive Abilities Test)
For students entering Year 2 and above, this assessment helps us gauge your child’s potential in areas like problem-solving and critical thinking. It offers us valuable insights into how they learn, which helps us tailor their educational journey.
CEPT (Cambridge English Placement Test)
Administered for students entering Year 7 to Year 12, this computer-based test assesses your child’s English proficiency in reading and listening, ensuring they are placed at the appropriate level for language support.
OPT (Oxford Placement Test)
For students entering Year 2 to Year 6, this adaptive, on-demand test measures the English level of non-native speakers, ensuring your child receives the right guidance for their language development
Within 3 to 5 working days after your child’s assessment, we will send an Acceptance Letter via email. This letter will include an invoice detailing the next steps:
