Garry began at SJIIM as a founding member in the academic year of 2016-2017. Before that, he taught for five years at the Australian International School in Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates. There, he taught Years 6, 7, 8, and 9, and served as a Leader of Learning in the Middle School. Prior to that, he taught in his native country, Australia before he decided that his talents would be put to better use in the international sphere. Garry holds a Bachelor of Education in English and Humanities from Australia’s Griffith University. He is currently teaching IGCSE Geography, KS3 English, Humanities, Drama and IB Theory of Knowledge. He also coordinates SJIIM’s Model United Nations programme in conjunction with the school’s Student Secretariat.
